ULTRASONIC LIPOSUCTION

An effective surgical procedure to remove fatty deposits from areas where fat is unable to be shifted by exercise or diet. Your reason for choosing liposuction may be as simple as just wanting to look better in your clothes or want to look and feel better.

Liposuction is helpful when you have areas that fail to improve or excess fat. These are most frequently the outer thighs and hips for women and love handles and the tummy for men. You may be a good candidate for liposuction if you have localized excess fat or desire contouring in any of the following areas:
1. Cheeks, jowls and neck
2. Upper arms
3. Breast or chest areas back
4. Abdomen and waist

Age is not the limiting factor for liposuction provided you are in good health. If your skin is stretched and loose from pregnancy or weight loss, then liposuction may not help. LIPOSUCTION TECHNIQUE
We use the ‘tumescent technique’, where the surgeon injects large quantities of fluid through a small incision. The fluid reduces the risk of bleeding. The fat swells with the fluid going into the fat layers. A cannula is then passed through the swollen fat cells. Suction through the cannula removes the fatty tissue and the fluid that has been injected.

INCISIONS

The incisions are very small (about 3-4 mm) and they are placed in the natural body creases, so that they are not visible.
The very small incisions made to insert the cannula are barely visible.
