AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR BROW LIFT / FOREHEAD LIFT?
Any one or combination of the following conditions may indicate that you are a good candidate for a forehead lift:
- Sagging or low position of the eyebrows, creating a tired or sad appearance
- Deep horizontal creases across the forehead
- Frown lines, or furrows, between the eyebrows and sometimes across the top of the nose
GETTING BACK TO NORMAL
Remember, with any facial surgery, you may feel and look better in a short period of time.
However, it may not be advisable to participate in certain activities, especially activities that may result in the face being jarred or bumped, for several weeks.
What You Should Expect During Consultaion?
During your consultation, Dr. Viral Desai will ask you about the results you will expect from the surgery. He will inform you of the risks and complications as well as the benefits and whether or not your expectations are realistic.

Preparation For Surgery
- ASK WHETHER DRIVING TO SURGERY IS ADVISABLE: In preparing for your surgery, be sure to find out if you’ll be able to drive home afterward or will require transportation.
- RESTRICTIONS ON DRINKING / EATING / MEDICATIONS: You should also ask if you’ll need to refrain from eating or drinking the night before your surgery, and if you should stop taking any medications, including aspirin and similar drugs.
- ORAL ANTIBIOTICS (MAY BE INSTRUCTED): You may be instructed to take oral antibiotics both before and after the procedure to help guard against infection.
